The Insta360 X5 represents the peak performer of the motorcycle and powersports camera kits available in the Insta360 lineup. The X5 introduces several key upgrades over the X4, focusing on sensor size, low-light performance, lens durability, and usability enhancements. For improved image quality, the X5 features dual 1/1.28" sensors, a 144% increase in size, capturing more light for improved low-light performance. Video quality remains unchanged at up to 8K at 30fps, 5.7K at 60fps, and 4K at 120fps, but the revised X5 Camera utilizes supersampling from 11K for sharper, more detailed footage, and AI is utilized further for enhanced low-light video quality. 

With moto thrills and spills in mind, X5 introduces user-replaceable lenses - a first for the Insta360 camera lineup. Furthermore, the X5 boasts an IP68 rating, making it the most water resistant "X" camera in the lineup with a rating up to 15 meters. The X5 offers up to 185 minutes of recording at 5.7K/24fps in Endurance Mode and can simultaneously record 360° and flat videos, streamlining content creation. An upgraded microphone with a multi-layer wind guard reduce wind noise and improve audio quality.
